The Shorty Slip-On delivers a balanced, deep tone that’s present without being obnoxious—easy to fit, easy to live with, and easy on the eyes. For those wanting an even sharper, race-inspired exhaust note, the Flanker Slip-On is a carbon-tipped short pipe with a stainless mesh grill, designed to enhance mid-range and top-end power while producing a deeper, raspier tone.

Performance & Sound

Both systems provide improved exhaust flow, delivering better mid-range torque and throttle response while reducing weight for a sharper ride. The Shorty offers a classic reverse-cone tone, while the Flanker’s five-layer internals produce a distinctively aggressive exhaust note.

Materials & Construction

  • Shorty Slip-On: Full TIG-welded 304 stainless steel with a brushed stainless or black ceramic finish.

  • Flanker Slip-On: Features Kelpi’s 5-layer internal construction—perforated tubing, steel mesh, fiberglass, and cotton gauze—wrapped in a vapour-blasted stainless shell with a carbon-fiber end cap.

  • Weight Reduction: Significantly lighter than stock, improving the bike’s power-to-weight ratio.

I ride a '23 Vitpilen 401. The exhaust sounds AMAZING! The price is listed in Australian dollars, so the price is actually lower when purchased in American currency, so its a value when compared to other high quality systems on the market. If you want an extremely high quality pipe, then look no further, because this is an absolutely beautiful work of art. I purchased the all black shorty version. It is shorter than the factory pipe and that helps show off the factory wheel and spokes. Shipping was fast and the packaging was adequate to help keep it from getting damaged during its long journey to Texas. The sound is absolutely no comparison to stock. The pipe comes with one mechanism to keep your neighbors happy, but I went straight for pissing them off, so I can't vouch for how it sounds with it in. It sounds classy and sophisticated with a growl. Its s single engine, so don't expect super bike sound, but it does now sound like a motorcycle with a great pipe, if that makes sense. it sounds like a mini sports bike on the street and a mad ape on the highway. Grabs attention for safety! Definitely sounds better than the other options on the market and looks 10x cooler. I'm glad I made the purchase without any regrets and would not hesitate to buy from this small business again. My next bike will have their name and pipe on it again! It is extremely easy to install as well. Their craftsmanship is 2ND to NONE! Purchase the pipe, you will be so happy and thrilled that you did!
