Ridgeback Bar End Mirrors – Modern Styling, Billet Alloy Construction

The Ridgebacks are our premium evolution of the Throwbacks — developed specifically for modern, performance-focused motorcycles that demand a more refined finish. 

Machined from billet aluminium with a CNC-cut mirror shell and 316 corrosion-proof fasteners, the Ridgebacks are built to look and feel right at home on higher-end machines. Where the Throwbacks suit everything from scramblers to daily nakeds, the Ridgebacks lean more towards modern streetfighters, neo-retro performance bikes, and aggressive naked builds. Think MT and XSR 900, Street and Speed Triple, GSX-S and Katana, Ducati Streetfighter, BMW R9T, Indian FTR, Kawasaki Z900 etc. 

The fox-eye lens shape is slightly more compact than the Throwbacks, which gives a little extra space for your hands and allows for easier underslung fitment. The result is a tighter, sharper silhouette that complements modern tank and tail lines without looking bulky. The blue anti-glare lens provides a crisp, distortion-free field of view with 69cm² of surface area, reducing harsh headlight reflection at night while maintaining clarity during the day.

A larger side-mounted ball joint allows for four mounting orientations — above or below the bars, inward or outward — and is engineered to require deliberate adjustment force. Once positioned, it stays planted. The heavier billet mount combined with the reinforced stem improves stability at speed and reduces high-frequency vibration.

These are not designed for old school builds - they're made for premium modern machines.

Fitment & Mounting

The Ridgebacks can be:

• Clamped directly to a 7/8” (22mm) handlebar end
• Mounted to compatible diameter stock bar end weights using supplied shims
• Bolted up directly to M6 or M8 threaded bar end inserts using supplied fasteners
• Fitted with our universal Dynabolt-style splay mounts for open hole handlebar ends with an inner diameter of 13-20mm (Harley & Fatbar friendly)

Optional Mounting Extras:

Yamaha: For owners of the specific Yamaha models below, we also offer an optional M16 threaded bar-end mounts for direct compatibility with:

• XSR700 (All Years), XSR900 (All Years), MT07 (2014–2024), MT09 (2014–2020), MT10 (2017–2024), FZ1 (2001–2015), FZ6/R (2003–2017)

Triumph: For owners of almost every Triumph produced for the last 15 years, the mirrors can be clamped directly onto the bar end, and we've designed a carbon fibre / nylon composite bar end cap/slider that ensures a flush fit and increased crash protection.
