- ✂️ Trim Only vs New Seat Units: For all seat products, we supply you with a handmade, model-specific seat trim. For some bike models, we are also able to supply an OEM-equivalent moulded seat base and foam, with our seat trim pre-installed. If ordering the former, you will need to remove your stock seat trim (see video guide below) and then install the Kelpi seat trim. If ordering the latter, you simply remove your existing seat and replace it with the Kelpi unit. If you don't see "New Seat Unit + Trim" as an option, we do not carry a seat base, and you will need to order the trim-only version to install yourself.
- 🍑 Comfort Level?: Trim-Only = ~10-15% improvement in comfort. New Seat Unit + Trim = ~15-25% improvement in comfort.
- 🌦️ Waterproof?: We use weather-resistant materials for all our seat trims. While the materials themselves are water resistant and will stand up to the elements, repeated or prolonged exposure to torrential rain or snow will likely result in water entering the seat through the stitching. We suggest keeping the seat dry wherever possible, and using a damp sponge or towel to spot clean the seat when required.

Please note that ALL our seats are hand-made-to-order here in Brisbane, Australia. A lead time of 2-4 weeks is our standard turnaround time on any order containing a seat product. You will be notified of your seat's completion before it is shipped to you. Please allow up to 30 days between placing a seat order and the order being shipped to your address.

Alongside our comfort seat covers, we now offer a completely new comfort seat unit + trim option, pairing our handmade seat trims and comfort foam layers with a softer moulded foam similar to the Yamaha comfort seat. This is hands-down the most comfortable seat upgrade available for the new-gen MT-09, crafted from the ground up for riders who expect more from their daily ride.

Tailored Comfort for Every Rider
Our goal has always been simple, make the MT-09 seat something you'll actually enjoy sitting on. Our trim-only option improves comfort by increasing the foam thickness without adding bulk. Now, our Comfort Seat Unit + Trim option goes even further, pairing a moulded Kelpi seat pan with multi-layered comfort foam shaped for your individual weight and height.
Inside the new seat unit, you’ll find our new comfort seat foam core, plus our custom density mid and top-layer foams that you find on our trim only option, refined over thousands of builds and countless feedback from our customers. The result? A seat that feels plush when you want it and supportive when you need it, whether you're a featherweight or on the heavier side.
Compared to Yamaha’s factory foam, our moulded layers provide a much more premium feel, paired with an additional 24mm comfort insert for long distance plushness.

Includes a dual-density 12mm comfort foam stitched into the rider’s seat and a 12mm mid-layer adhered to the base, providing 24mm of custom foam set up to your height and weight.

Fitment & Installation
Our trims are designed for easy installation and can be fitted at home using an air-powered 6mm staple gun or by a local upholsterer. We always encourage supporting local businesses, as an experienced upholsterer can provide a flawless installation while ensuring your seat is fitted for long-term durability. We also have a dedicated FAQs section for all seat-related enquiries. Sold as a two-piece set (rider and pillion seat), replacing the stock covers. We ship worldwide with packaging designed to prevent creasing or damage in transit.
