- ✂️ Trim Only vs New Seat Units: For all seat products, we supply you with a handmade, model-specific seat trim. For some bike models, we are also able to supply an OEM-equivalent moulded seat base and foam, with our seat trim pre-installed. If ordering the former, you will need to remove your stock seat trim (see video guide below) and then install the Kelpi seat trim. If ordering the latter, you simply remove your existing seat and replace it with the Kelpi unit. If you don't see "New Seat Unit + Trim" as an option, we do not carry a seat base, and you will need to order the trim-only version to install yourself.
- 🍑 Comfort Level?: Trim-Only = ~10-15% improvement in comfort. New Seat Unit + Trim = ~15-25% improvement in comfort.
- 🌦️ Waterproof?: We use weather-resistant materials for all our seat trims. While the materials themselves are water resistant and will stand up to the elements, repeated or prolonged exposure to torrential rain or snow will likely result in water entering the seat through the stitching. We suggest keeping the seat dry wherever possible, and using a damp sponge or towel to spot clean the seat when required.

Please note that ALL our seats are hand-made-to-order here in Brisbane, Australia. A lead time of 2-4 weeks is our standard turnaround time on any order containing a seat product. You will be notified of your seat's completion before it is shipped to you. Please allow up to 30 days between placing a seat order and the order being shipped to your address.
Separate your CB/CBR from the pack with our Comfort Seat Trim, designed to keep you riding longer whilst adding a touch of handmade custom styling to your ride. Crafted in Brisbane on a made to order basis, these seats improve comfort with variable density foam inlays specific to rider weight. This ensures a balance between initial plushness and longer distance support for all shapes and sizes, a common problem with many stock seats that are essentially ‘one size fits all.’
This custom trim works to add a twin stitched diamond insert that flows from the rider’s seat to the pillion seat seamlessly, with twin border panels that work to flow into the bodywork visually. It’s a timelessly classic pairing to Honda’s neo retro and sport middleweights, creating a visually custom styling in a way that very few mods are able to achieve.
Comfort and Customisation
Comfort is tailored specifically to the rider, with variable-density foam inserts designed to suit your weight and improve ergonomics. The standard setup is a dual density 24mm insert which visually works best and looks exceptionally tailored and slimline.
Standard Design:
The Oxley: A mix of black suede and vinyl with a twin stitch diamond pattern inset panel, and a saddle stitch that pairs perfectly with the engine cases, valve cover and wheels on these bikes. The Oxley works for across all models visually.
Custom options are also available, including premium materials like Alcantara, alternative stitching patterns, and a variety of colours for stitching and materials. These modifications can be tailored to your vision for a truly bespoke seat trim and are priced according to material costs and time involved.
Sustainability and Ease of Installation
We prioritise sustainability by offering trims that reuse the stock seat base, avoiding the waste and cost associated with full seat replacements. This approach reduces shipping fees, import duties and production waste, allowing us to provide world-class custom upholstery to anyone globally.
Our seat trims are designed for easy DIY installation, requiring only an air-powered 6-8mm staple gun and a flat head screwdriver. Installation takes just 15 minutes and is supported by a comprehensive video guide. For those less inclined to install themselves, local upholsterers can provide professional fitting for a small fee. We tend to love this option, as you’ll get perfect fitment whilst also getting an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of upholstery that we do. In five years, we’re yet to hear of any trimmer who hasn’t been impressed by our work.
