Designed specifically for the 2019–2026+ Suzuki Katana, this seat combines a clean, considered design with improved everyday comfort and the distinctive hand-finished quality of a Kelpi Custom Moto seat.

Every Kelpi seat is made to order by hand in Brisbane, Australia, with each cover individually cut, stitched and upholstered by our in-house team. For the Katana, we've combined durable black vinyl with our SuedeTouch seating material to create a seat that feels premium without compromising the practicality required for everyday riding.

SuedeTouch is used across the main seating areas for its soft feel and additional grip, while black vinyl is used through the surrounding panels and high-wear areas. The result is a clean two-material finish that complements the Katana's sharp, minimalist design.

Styles

Red - Black vinyl and SuedeTouch upholstery finished with red detail stitching, complementing the Katana's iconic red colourway with a subtle, considered accent.

Silver - Black vinyl and SuedeTouch upholstery with silver detail stitching, pairing naturally with the Katana's distinctive silver finish.

Blue - Black vinyl and SuedeTouch upholstery finished with blue detail stitching to complement the Katana's blue OEM colourway.

Design & Craftsmanship

This is a seat built around material quality, considered design and the attention to detail that goes into every Kelpi Custom Moto product. The combination of SuedeTouch and black vinyl provides a tactile, premium finish while keeping the overall design clean and understated.

Rather than being mass-produced, every Kelpi seat is individually handmade in our Brisbane, Australia workshop. Each cover is cut, stitched and finished in-house, allowing us to maintain control over the materials, panel alignment and stitching throughout the build.

The colour-matched detail stitching is deliberately subtle, tying the seat into the Katana's OEM colourways without overpowering the clean lines of the motorcycle.

Comfort & Construction

The seat uses an OEM-equivalent comfort-focused seat pan and foam construction. The foam is slightly softer than the factory seat, providing improved comfort and weight distribution on longer rides while retaining the support and durability required for everyday use.

SuedeTouch also provides more grip than conventional smooth vinyl, helping keep you planted in the seat under braking, acceleration and cornering. Combined with the supportive foam construction, the result is a more comfortable seat without losing the connection to the motorcycle.

Fitment & Installation

Designed specifically for Suzuki Katana models from 2019–2026+, this product is available as either a complete seat unit or trim only.

Full Seat Unit + Trim - A complete seat supplied with the Kelpi upholstery and trim professionally installed and ready to fit to the motorcycle. No stapling, trimming or upholstery work is required.

Trim Only - Professionally made Kelpi upholstery trim supplied for customers who already have a suitable seat pan and want to have the trim installed themselves or by their preferred upholsterer.
