Let’s be real… The Thruxton 1200 is one of the best-looking modern classics on the road, but the stock seat? Visually underwhelming, and not the most comfortable seat for a long weekend ride. Our custom seat trim changes that, fixing a minor pet hate on an otherwise flawless machine… We’re still sad to see it discontinued.

Designed and handmade in Brisbane, our custom seat trim transforms your ride with a handmade, comfort-focused upgrade that pairs premium materials with proper rider support. Whether you're carving up the hills on the weekends or clocking daily miles through the traffic, this seat is built to make every ride feel nicer, whilst looking damn fine in the process.

Designed for the Thruxton

We’ve reworked the design of the seat to create a cleaner, more sculpted look that flows beautifully with the Thruxton’s lines, with an extra layer of profiled foam at the very front to fix the profile as the seat meets the tank. Whether you’re running the rear cowl or going naked, the trim complements the factory design without looking bulky.

Updated panel lines give it a refined British style, while the materials we use adding considerable grip and a proper custom touch that feels right at home on these bikes. We’ve designed up a completely new insert stitching design for the Thruxton, incorporating our ridgeback centre lines (matched to the Thruxton’s tank strap width) with an angular stitched off ribbed insert that’s taken influence from herringbone weaves and classic British union jack line work.

Comfort & Craftsmanship

We use a 12mm foam inlay tailored to your weight, giving you plushness without bulk and support without stiffness. Whether you're on the lighter side or carrying a bit more, our comfort layers are dialled in to your weight, from feedback across thousands of seats to give you that goldilocks feel on comfort. On the front of the seat is a second 12mm tapered layer to provide better comfort for riders who sit up on the tank, whilst fixing the visual ‘dip’ of the Thruxton’s seat to tank join.

Each seat is handmade to order in our Brisbane workshop and features:

• Italian Dinamica & Alcantara synthetic suedes

• American Carrera distressed vinyls

• Australian Dunlop foams

• British Coats waxed cotton threads

Everything is done in-house, from cutting and shaping to stitching and final assembly, and this has a big impact on our ability to consistently provide world class upholstery on every seat we make.

Fitment & Installation

Our trims are designed for easy installation and can be fitted at home using an air-powered 6mm staple gun or by a local upholsterer. We always encourage supporting local businesses, as an experienced upholsterer can provide a flawless installation while ensuring your seat is fitted for long-term durability. Shipping & Custom Options

Sold as a one-piece trim, replacing the stock cover. We ship worldwide with packaging designed to prevent creasing or damage in transit.
