YAMAHA XSR900 (2016-2021) COMFORT SEAT TRIM

Specific to the Yamaha XSR900, Kelpi offers a range of seat covers that are Australian made and designed, increasing comfort, durability, and offering a huge visual custom bang for buck in the process.

These covers, offered in small-batch runs of specific colours and inserts, are all handmade in Brisbane using top quality automotive fabrics and threads. Our seats include a 12mm comfort insert that’s stitched into the cover itself, with updated insert lines that extend the rider’s seat back—a common complaint for taller riders.

Design & Craftsmanship

Each seat is handcrafted using a collection of high end materials that we have chosen and sourced globally, creating a world class trail of provenance unseen amongst our competitors.

We produce every seat in-house—from material selection and marking to foam inlay, insert stitching, and final assembly—ensuring complete control over comfort and finish.

Signature Designs

• Simpson—Bright and vibrant tan vinyl with cream twin-stitched diamond insert. Ideal for the bare metal editions, silver, and red 2020 models, and the XSR900SP black and gold.

• Nullarbor—Distressed, mottled, matte brown vinyl that adds a rugged, custom look—great for heritage blue models and the newer purplish blue metallics.

• Glorious—Full black synthetic suede with charcoal twin-stitched diamond insert. This suede is durable in all weather and pairs beautifully with every XSR900 model released to date.

• Oxley— A two-tone black suede and vinyl trim with charcoal twin-stitched diamond insert. Timeless, clean, and suited to every XSR900 paint scheme.

Fitment & Installation

• Fits Yamaha XSR900 2016 to 2021 model years

• Sold as a single piece that replaces the stock seat cover

Installation takes 15 minutes and can be done with an air-powered 6mm staple gun by following our installation video guide

Shipped thoughtfully within Australia and internationally to prevent creasing or damage during transit

Customisation Options

Further seat modifications and reshaping can be done to the stock seat pan in-house, with the cover working well across the usual range of modifications (inverting seat pan hump, adding front lip foam, shaving back main seat, extending the rider’s seat rear lip, etc).

Seat modifications can be arranged by request, and this is achieved via the seat being posted to us in Brisbane. Because all of our seats are made in Brisbane, we have the opportunity to fulfill custom briefs relatively quickly.
