- ✂️ Trim Only vs New Seat Units: For all seat products, we supply you with a handmade, model-specific seat trim. For some bike models, we are also able to supply an OEM-equivalent moulded seat base and foam, with our seat trim pre-installed. If ordering the former, you will need to remove your stock seat trim (see video guide below) and then install the Kelpi seat trim. If ordering the latter, you simply remove your existing seat and replace it with the Kelpi unit. If you don't see "New Seat Unit + Trim" as an option, we do not carry a seat base, and you will need to order the trim-only version to install yourself.
- 🍑 Comfort Level?: Trim-Only = ~10-15% improvement in comfort. New Seat Unit + Trim = ~15-25% improvement in comfort.
- 🌦️ Waterproof?: We use weather-resistant materials for all our seat trims. While the materials themselves are water resistant and will stand up to the elements, repeated or prolonged exposure to torrential rain or snow will likely result in water entering the seat through the stitching. We suggest keeping the seat dry wherever possible, and using a damp sponge or towel to spot clean the seat when required.

Please note that ALL our seats are hand-made-to-order here in Brisbane, Australia. A lead time of 2-4 weeks is our standard turnaround time on any order containing a seat product. You will be notified of your seat's completion before it is shipped to you. Please allow up to 30 days between placing a seat order and the order being shipped to your address.
Designed specifically for the 2021-2023 Yamaha MT-09, this custom seat trim enhances both aesthetics and ride-ability. The updated design refines the flow of the seat into the tank and subframe, giving the bike a more cohesive, streamlined profile. More than just a visual upgrade, this seat trim introduces a 12mm foam layer, stitched into the rider’s seat to improve comfort; especially in a relaxed, upright riding position.

Each seat trim is handcrafted in Brisbane, using high-quality automotive fabrics, foams, and threads. We use a blend of American Carrara vinyls, Italian synthetic suedes, and Australian waxed cotton threads, ensuring durability, resilience, and a premium finish. Every trim is made to order, allowing us to customise the foam density to suit individual rider weight for the best possible comfort and support.

Keep your factory seat pan and install our comfort trim yourself (with an air-powered 6mm staple gun following this video guide), or with a local upholsterer.

Includes a dual-density 12mm comfort foam stitched into the rider’s seat and a 12mm mid-layer adhered to the base, providing 24mm of custom foam set up to your height and weight.

Fitment & Installation
Our seat trims are designed for easy installation. With an air-powered 6mm staple gun, most riders can fit them at home in under 15 minutes, or opt for a local upholsterer for a flawless finish. We always encourage supporting local businesses, as experienced upholsterers ensure a professional installation with long-term durability. Sold as a single-piece seat cover, replacing the stock seat material. Thoughtfully shipped worldwide, ensuring it arrives crease-free and undamaged.
