YAMAHA R1 (2015+) INDICATOR KIT - COMPLETE PLUG & PLAY

The 2015-onward Yamaha R1 combines unmistakable race-derived styling with superbike performance, but the factory rear indicators can let down the bike’s otherwise sharp and streamlined appearance. Kelpi Custom Moto’s R1 LED Rear Indicator Kit replaces the bulky original indicators with brighter, more compact LED units while retaining a factory-correct fit and function.

Our R1-specific indicator kit is engineered for a precise, plug-and-play installation across all road-going models produced from 2015 onward. Rather than relying on universal wiring or generic mounts, the kit includes Yamaha-specific wiring adapters that connect directly to the factory loom, along with custom mounting plates designed for the R1’s original rear indicator mounting points.

The kit is compatible with the following models and variants:

• Yamaha YZF-R1, 2015–current
• Yamaha YZF-R1M, 2015–current
• Yamaha YZF-R1S, 2016–2018
• Yamaha YZF-R1 60th Anniversary Edition
• Yamaha YZF-R1 World GP 60th Anniversary Edition
• Other colour and graphics editions based on the 2015-onward road-going R1 platform

Track-only models such as the R1 GYTR and R1 Race are not included, as these motorcycles are not supplied with the complete factory road-lighting equipment used by the road-going R1.

All compatible 2015-onward R1 models feature front indicators integrated into the rear-view mirrors. The Kelpi kit therefore includes one pair of rear LED indicators, designed to work seamlessly alongside the factory mirror-mounted front indicators.

The R1 rear indicator kit is available in two premium styles: Scout and Sweeper.

The Scout features a compact, minimalist LED design with crisp, high-intensity output. Its understated proportions clean up the rear of the bike without distracting from the R1’s sharp, race-inspired bodywork.

The Sweeper uses a longer, flowing light pattern for increased visibility and a more aggressive visual presence that complements the R1’s angular styling. Please note that the Sweeper is a solid-output LED indicator rather than a sequential indicator.

Both options are fully road-legal, built for long-term durability and designed to sharpen the R1’s appearance without compromising visibility or functionality.

Everything required for installation is included in the box: two rear LED indicators, R1-specific wiring adapters and custom mounting plates. The result is a precise, high-quality upgrade that cleans up the rear of your Yamaha R1 while preserving factory-level fit, function and reliability.
