The Kelpi Comfort Seat Trim for the 2026+ Yamaha R7 has been redesigned specifically for the latest generation of Yamaha's supersport twin, delivering a substantial improvement in comfort without compromising the sleek factory styling. Every seat is built to order in our Brisbane workshop and tailored to the individual rider's height and weight, resulting in a genuinely personalised upgrade that's as comfortable on long rides as it is at the daily commute.
Design Options
Inspired by the factory colour schemes available on the latest Yamaha R7, each seat trim combines premium black vinyl with Italian synthetic suede and our signature diamond stitching. Complete the look by choosing a detail stitch colour that best matches your bike:
• Team Yamaha Blue – Team Yamaha Blue detail stitch
• Sky Blue Models – Sky Blue detail stitch
• White & Red Models – Red detail stitch
• Black & Grey Models – Charcoal detail stitch
Custom Comfort
No two riders are built the same, so neither are our seats. Every Kelpi Comfort Seat Trim is configured around your height and weight to provide the right balance of support and cushioning.
Shorter riders receive a lower-profile 12 mm comfort insert to help preserve seat height and confidence at a standstill. Taller riders benefit from a thicker 24 mm dual-density insert, providing additional support and reducing pressure during longer rides. Foam density is also selected according to rider weight, ensuring consistent comfort and support across the entire seating surface.
Seat Options
Trim Only
This product is supplied as a replacement seat trim that fits directly to your original Yamaha seat pan.
Installation can be completed at home using an air-powered 6 mm staple gun by following our installation video, or the trim can be fitted by any competent automotive or furniture upholsterer.
Each trim includes a dual-density 12 mm comfort foam integrated into the seat cover, along with a further 12 mm comfort layer bonded to the base, providing a combined 24 mm of tailored comfort foam that's configured specifically for your riding requirements.
This option is ideal for riders looking for a significant comfort upgrade while retaining their original seat units, with lower shipping costs and straightforward installation.

Fitment & Installation
Designed exclusively for the 2026+ Yamaha R7, this seat trim is not compatible with 2022–2025 models due to Yamaha's updated seat design.
Installation typically takes around 20–30 minutes using an air-powered 6 mm staple gun and our step-by-step installation video guide. Alternatively, your local upholstery shop can install the trim quickly and professionally.
