YAMAHA MT09 (2021-2023) FULL STAINLESS EXHAUST SYSTEM

Kelpi's full stainless 3nd Gen Yamaha MT09 exhaust system will utterly transform the tonal and visual impact of your bike, significantly improve horsepower and torque, while also shedding 3-4kg of weight (depending on muffler selection).

Our 3nd Gen MT09 systems come with two muffler options to suit you and your bike’s styling and tastes. Both the Shorty and Flanker options offer an underslung style of exhaust for a sleek-looking finish that stays mostly tucked underneath. These mufflers are also physically lightweight, but accentuate the deeper exhaust tones and are significantly louder than stock (especially when not running their included dB killers).

The Shorty system is easily our most recognisable with its alloy end cap, and gives off more classic styling notes of the '60s and '70s, while the carbon-fibre-tipped Flanker plants the MT09 firmly in the modern naked bike category.

Kelpi's MT09 exhaust system utilises a high-flow catalytic converter and removable dB killer to conform to most region’s noise restrictions, while still being capable of 121-126hp at the rear wheel once tuned (depending on muffler/baffle combinations) — a massive increase on the 105hp at the rear wheel from stock. If you're not looking to custom-tune your MT09 just yet, performance gains and decreased weight can be had straight away solely from the exhaust system swap itself. For general road use, these systems can be run on the stock tune with no issues (although running them with the included baffle will keep air:fuel ratios closer to stock).

However, if you're not sure which combination of muffler/baffle/intake is best suited for your needs, we've developed a series of ECU tunes —in partnership with Kevin Hope— to deliver the best possible results for your individual bike. All of our MT09 exhaust systems have been subjected to over four months' of onboard data logging and countless dyno tuning sessions to provide optimal results. • The Quietcore baffle is an optional baffle to for our systems which replaces our standard dB killer, offering significant volume reduction to the exhaust at the expense of some top end power. When selecting the Quietcore baffle, you will still receive our standard baffle and be able to swap between for 3 distinct volumes and tones.
