The 2024+ MT-09 brought sharp styling updates, but like every CP3 before it, the factory exhaust still holds back its true character. The Kelpi Full Exhaust System transforms both the tone and power delivery of Yamaha’s triple-cylinder platform while shaving 3–4kg of weight (muffler depending) and bringing out the deep, aggressive soundtrack this bike deserves.

Whether you’re chasing more power, a sharper visual profile, or just can’t stand the stock exhaust box, this system is the ultimate upgrade for your MT-09.

Performance & Tuning

Our CP3 systems utilise high-flow catalytic converters and removable dB killers to meet most regional noise restrictions while still unlocking real gains. On a tuned setup, expect a 12hp increase with significantly improved torque, especially in first and second gear, and a more linear, responsive midrange.

For general road use, these systems run safely on the stock tune, especially when using our included (removable) standard baffle insert. However, if you're upgrading intake and removing the baffle for maximum flow, an ECU flash or dyno tune is highly recommended. We've partnered with Kevin Hope to develop a tune specifically for our CP3 systems, built from months of onboard data logging and dyno testing. Contact us directly to arrange this upgrade.

Classic reverse-cone shape with a billet alloy end cap
Bass-heavy, aggressive tone
Compact underslung position
Three different volume options when including our Quietcore baffle.

Flanker

Modern carbon-tipped design with stainless mesh grille
Deep burble with a sharp edge at higher RPMs
Sleek underslung finish blends into the MT-09’s lines
Louder than stock, but pleasant with the included baffle, even more so with the Quietcore kit.

Fitment Details

Shorty & Flanker Systems:
Only Shorty muffler available in Cerakote options due to the nature of the Flanker and its endcap not being able to withstand the coating process.
Includes headers, collector, link pipe, high-flow catalytic converter, muffler, fasteners, springs, and removable baffle insert
Euro 5+ Options
- Beginning in 2024, Euro 5+ emissions restrictions require all European-delivered bikes to run twin O2 sensors in the exhaust. This change is being gradually rolled out to the rest of the world beginning in 2025 (excl. most US States). Most MT-09s delivered to Australia and the US are still running a single sensor. To see if your bike requires a secondary sensor, please check the reference image below to see if your bike matches. If there is no Euro 5+ sensor, please order the standard system.
